Well Woman Yoga Therapy offers a unique understanding for women’s health throughout our lives.

 

The practices offer you tools to bring a healing balance, through the ability to feel, nurture and build the feminine energy, benefitting women in all stages of life.

 

Well Woman Yoga Therapy offers you an understanding and conscious awareness of the menstrual cycle, and of cycles throughout women’s lives, from pre-menopause, peri-menopause, menopause and post menopause.

 

The group sessions help you to cultivate a deeper sense of connection to yourself and your female body, building  female vitality, self-respect and spiritual empowerment.

who are these

sessions for?

 

  • Women from early 20's and above who wish to understand more about the benefits of a yoga practice to compliment the female body as a whole.​

​​

  • Women from 35 years of age as a preventative therapy, due to the decreasing ovarian activity and an associated gradual decrease in hormone production of the two main female hormones: oestrogen and progesterone.

​​

  • Women of all ages with symptoms of low hormones: difficulty achieving pregnancy; polycystic ovaries; menstrual disorders; premenstrual stress syndrome (PMS); ovarian cysts and premature menopause.

​​

  • Women who wish to eliminate or alleviate the symptoms of the onset of peri-menopause and menopause, such as hot flashes, insomnia, night sweats, emotional instability, depression, headaches, difficulty concentrating, remembering, decreased libido, etc.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A GROUP SESSION ?

​

Expect to gather positive tools to incorporate into your life, no matter what stage of life you are:

​

an understanding of your menstrual cycle (if you still have one);

an understanding of your changing body;

yoga movement to meet you where you are

strength building practices that are delivered therapeutically

relaxations and meditations 

yoga nidra specifically for the female.

a special series of yoga movements (asanas) to reactivate hormone production and, as a consequence, it eliminates most symptoms of hormonal imbalances.

breathing techniques (pranayama),

and much more......

 

 Regular practice helps to harmonise the hormonal system and consequently eliminate the symptoms of low hormone levels.

​

Many woman have found it extremely helpful with easing the discomforts of:

premenstrual syndrome,

endometriosis,

infertility issues,

menopausal symptoms

thyroid conditions.

MONDAY

 9.30am - 10.30am

​

£8.50 PER CLASS OR £45.00 FOR 6 WEEKS

​

MONTHLY WOMENS CIRCLE

SATURDAY 

9.30am - 11.15am

​

A chance to come together as a community to explore the practices upon a deeper level, to have a voice, to feel supported and to gather and grow in awareness.

​

The monthly circle may also include women's well being rituals.
